My Story

Michiel Franciscus Markx was born on June 9, 1941. He was a loving man and father.
Everything was going good untill he forgot words and did not know how to make something good if it didn't work (he always knew it) A few days later after telling him each day he had to visit it he went to the hospital and then after a few long days came out he had longcancer and tumors on his brain.Our nightmare came true! The docters tried everything to make him better but after a few testes they knew it was impossible.The cancer had spread already all over his body.After a few weeks he was going out of  the hospital,but the doctors told us that it wasn't a good idea to bring him home again because we needed to continue take care for him.So he was going to a care home, called ''Het zonnehuis''.

When he arrived there,we already knew he wouldn't get better,the docters already told us. He lived in ''het zonnehuis'' a few weeks. After a few weeks, he didn't want to eat anymore and to walk gets harder and harder.He already said to us he didn't want to live anymore..So on July 8, 2009 the angels took him away from us..  We told him that we love him so much and we'll miss him forever. I hope he still knows that. And I KNOW I will meet him one day again...

I love you daddy. And I miss you more and more each day that goes by...
