My Story

Vincent was born on November the 20th of 1980 at 5:09 PM in Detroit Mi.
Vinnie's childhood was pretty average. He was a bright child and always busy exploring, tasting and experiencing his world. He learned to climb trees by climbing up on his tricycle to grab the lowest branch of the tree in the front yard at 4 years old, and climbed every tree he saw after that, much to my dismay!  Vinnie played baseball, basketball, was on swim team and played football, he was involved in sports throughout his school years.  He loved music and Stephen King novels. He was a construction carpenter who worked on building new homes in new subdivisions.
To his family, Vinnie was a vital member who was witty and charming and who would light up a room, and the eyes of his Mom, his sisters, his aunts and his neice.  He could see into my heart and he always found somthing new there to bring out and show me. Vinnie had a way of stating the obvious and making it hysterically funny!  He had strong opinions on everything involving society and politics and truly was amazed at the hypocracy and dishonesty in high places.  He stood for democracy and freedom and felt the need to make things right for those who suffered.
We will never know for sure how long he suffered or how many times he conquered the demon that finally killed him, all we know is that on February the 13th of 2007, early in the morning he was overcome by it  and lost his battle and his life to suicide by hanging out in his garage.
My son will live on as long as I breathe and as long as the members of this family are in the world. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed. My comfort is in knowing that each day I awaken 24 hours closer seeing him again, in the Holy Kingdom.
Thank you for listening to my sad story.
