My Story

Born on 22nd april 1948 at the home of parents William and Anne Quinney. Married to Sandra on 19th September 1970, Father to Ricky and Christopher, Father in law to Marita and Sarah. Proud Grandad to Ricardo, Gabby, Fernando, Max and Jak . Younger brother of Mick, uncle to Lorraine, Julie and Annette.

He was a kind caring man always putting others before himself, and as all of his good friends would agree a true gentleman. He was taken from us too soon , he had so much left that he wanted to do.

You have left a huge space in our hearts and we will all miss you and never forget you.

This poem was read on behalf of all the family at his service
YOU NEVER SAID YOU WERE LEAVING
                                      YOU NEVER SAID GOODBYE
YOU WERE GONE BEFORE WE KNEW IT
                                       AND ONLY GOD KNEW WHY

IT BROKE MY HEART TO LOSE YOU
                                       MY HEART IS BREAKING STILL
YOU LEFT A SPACE INSIDE ME
THAT NO ONE CAN EVER FILL
ALL THE TIMES I NEEDED YOU
AND ALL THE TIMES I CRIED
IF LOVE ALONE COULD HAVE SAVED YOU
                                        YOU NEVER WOULD HAVE DIED

ALTHOUGH YOU WERE TAKEN SO QUICKLY
                                        YOU DID NOT GO ALONE
FOR A PART OF ME WENT WITH YOU
THE DAY GOD TOOK YOU HOME

                                                   GOODBYE DAD
                                                                ALL MY LOVE CHRIS
