My Story

Sarah was a precious flower, lent not given, to bud on earth and bloom in heaven. Just 6 years old, on a hot,sunny and glorious May Day Bank Holiday, she was playing in the water at Chorlton Water Park and tragically drowned. Full of fun and happy to have recently met her new born sister, Rachel. Sarah was not afraid of the water, she loved it and was desperate to learn to swim. I wish to god she had. I wish to god that some one had seen her. The park was packed, there were so many people around but no one saw anything. The pain of losing Sarah is as deep today as it was then. A whole family shattered by Sarah's tragic death. I cannot comprehend how my sister Kay, Sarah's mum, has been able to survive but she has xxx.

I think the saddest place I have ever been or seen is the burial site of my 6 year old niece, it is too painful and I regret I cannot visit too often. Night night sweet Sarah, I wish I could see you now as a young woman. XXX Give my love, a kiss and a hug to your cousin Chloe who tragically joined you and Uncle Shaun who is looking after you both. xxxxx
