My Story

She was the fourth of six children, her parents were Joe & Mallie (McHan) Rosson. She was born & raised in Lake Village, AR. She has three sisters & two brothers. They were Joann, Barbara Jean, Marlin,Mary Nell, Marvin & Cynthia. Her husband was John Hargis. They met in Texas while he was stationed there in the army. She has four children Lanell, Sheila, John Jr. & Melissa. She has nine grandchildren & nine great grandchildren. She loved to shop & nobody it as good as her!! She liked making crafts & did it alot especially for her children & grandchildren for school parties. She has lived all over the U.S & Germany were she traveled & shopped extensively all over Europe. She loved to spend time with her family. She was an amazing cook, mother & friend!! She went into the hospital in June of 2008 for back & leg surgery & the dr. had done a chest x-ray & found cancer on her lungs. They scheduled a biopsy & we found out it had already spread to her brian & right hip. They focused on her brain first so they started with radiation. After several months of radiation (where she couldn't even remember if she had ate that day or what she had eaten or even remembered if she had asked you a min. ago something)she had a small break before chemo started.
