My Story

Mary Linda Coulter Swezey, September 1, 1947 –May 8, 2009 Resident of Eunice, New Mexico. After a courageous battle with RSD, Linda passed away peacefully at her home in Eunice. Linda was born and raised in Eunice and attended Eunice Public Schools.

She was one of seven children born to the late Ted and Opal Coulter, Linda will forever be remembered by her loving Brother Tommy Coulter, loving Sisters Betty Hollowell and Sally Coulter, her son Steve Almager, his wife Mikea and two treasured grandchildren Taylor and Tyler. Along with her sister-in-law Patty Coulter and countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who were blessed to know her.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Opal Coulter, her son Mike Swezey, her brothers, Craig and Jimmy Coulter and a sister Patsy Martin.Linda loved listening to country music, laughing, being with her family and having fun with friends. Linda touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday May 23, 2009 at 10am at Calvary Funeral Home in Eunice, NM.
