My Story

My dad, was born in a small town called Bristol, IL. He's family then moved to Chicago, IL. After my dad graduated college he became a Chicago Police Officer and was on the force for 36 years. He is the middle child of 8. He was a gentle man, with a loving heart, but who also had some inner demons, but we loved him and he supported my 6 older siblings and me as much as he could and gave and showed us undying love and care. He loved my mom, who he married in 1966. He had a great sense of humor and was a very protective, loving dad, grand-father, brother, uncle and friend. He is still thought about today and loved and missed dearly.

My dad loved to wake up on an early Sunday morning pack a cooler and just take a ride and drive different routes and stop at parks to have a picnic. He loved driving to the middle of the country just to get homegrown tomatoes and corn. He loved driving and site-seeing.
