I really miss you papa. I wish you were here to see how well everyone is doing. I want to see you so bad, but no I cant and I think that is what hurts the most. I would give anything to see you once more, but I know you are watching over us and thats what matters the most. I love and miss you so much, but I know one day I will get to see you again and get one of your great big hugs. Love you....

Papa, I wanted to say I love you very much and that this fathers day was extremely hard for me. I would have loved to sat with you at my Aunt's house and ate some BBQ. I am glad that you are finally free from physical pain and that you gave me some of the best memories of my life. All love

Happy Father's Day Pops! Thinking about you often on this first father's day with you gone. I miss you so much...we all do. Bryton and I spent some time reading over all those letters you sent him for that 8th grade project. They made you seem closer today. If you were here, there would be a wonderful BBQ at Carrie's with either apple or huckleberry pie for dessert.

I will always miss my papa but at least I will have my memories, and those I wouldn't trade for anything.

Today was a tough day. We were missing you so much and it was hard to pack away your things. The clothes still had your smell; with so many memories with some of the items. The only relief is knowing that you are no longer in pain. Love you!

Lee returned from his two week's active duty time and brought back the Sonny and Cher album and declared that "I Got You Babe" was our song. Karaoke night always includes a badly sung rendition of the song!
