My Story

Kazue (Kay) Takahashi was born in Tokyo, Japan on January 29, 1942, the eldest child of Fumiaki and Yoshiko Kaisen. She grew up in Hiroshima and later moved to San Francisco, graduated from Galileo High and San Francisco City College. Later she would marry Sumio in 1964, have two sons, Ken and Ben, and move to Piedmont. After 33 years, Kay retired as office manager for Dan Gould & Sons and enjoyed every free moment baking, traveling, laughing, and loving her family and friends. Her magnetic personality, zest, sense humor, and positive outlook attracted people to her. She touched so many lives along the way.
