My Story

Born a twin sister, youngest of five children.  She was an assertive woman before her time.  Growing up playing and enjoying most of her youth despite hardships and their were many.  Born in Southern California.  Becoming a young mother and a bride just out of high school, JUDY loved being a mom and a wife.  She had 4 children with her first and second husband, JOHN W. PARRIS.  First Born was JOHN WESLEY, then came JILL SUZANNE, JEFF WILLIAM, and lastly JEREMY WADE.    She was mostly a stay at home mom and a "soccer mom" as they call them today...but her children were in several sports.  Especially her 2 eldest sons.  Judy loved to watch her sons play sports.  She was a very involved mother. Often her childrens friends came to her and leaned towards her for her motherly advise, dubbing her their "second mom".  She was a very dedicated AUNT JUDY too.  Mostly to her twin sister's children, DEBORAH and CHRISTIAN, as the twins were hardly ever apart, including in their adult years.  Once Judy and John divorced for the second time from one another, they remained good friends.  That's the kind of love and respect they had for one another.  The reason they couldn't stay married was a whole other dynamic in itself!  Judy met Jack and married the cavalier man and the family loved him more then a step father.  He was "JACK" but he was our dad too.  We could talk with Jack about anything.  He loved my mom more then life itself and they were good together.  Jack passed just 1 year and several months before mom had passed.  They were together for more then 20 years.  Judy moved to Laverkin, UT just the year before being diagnosed with her tragic lung cancer that finally claimed  her life.  She was very content in her final resting place in Utah surrounded by the beauty of Mt. Zion National Park and Utah's natural beauty.  A woman who loved her family, her friends, people in general, but her dogs meant the world to her.  She loved her treasures like her jewelry and wore them throughout her life, I bet she was bejeweled in her final breath, as Judy was a devine spirit  and also a beautifully dressed woman.  She was a generous soul.  Always reaching out to others whenever she could and gifting was something that came automatic to Judy.  A devout believer in Jesus Christ and God.  Stood up for basic morals and principles.  A very unique person will be greatly missed.
