My Story

Jerry was born on Sunday October 25, 1964 in Corona, Queens, New York  to the proud first time parents John Patrick (raised in Manhattan)  & Blanche Grace  Mc Keown (raised in Dublin Ireland).

Four years later Jerry became my proud big brother.  Two and a half years after that both Jerry and I were blessed and thrilled at the arrival of our baby brother,  Johnny.

We were the closest family you could imagine.  With the exception of the normal family squabbles and  sibling rivalry there was always a deep unspoken love between us all.   Reflecting on my childhood  I can't help but regret not appreciating at the time that they were the best days of my life.   Life was complete because my family was complete.  A perfect beautiful life.   My brother's and I had never considered the thought of one of us gone and never fathomed the painful existence it would force on the rest of us left behind.   This  was something tragic that happened to other people but could never touch our family.  Who ever thinks in there wildest nightmare that something so unspeakabley cruel could happen to them.   There is no greater pain in the world than losing someone so close to you, so sudden and so tragic.  The pain is unbearable at times and will never go away.
