My Story

My best friend, my companion, my soul mate, and I met in November of 82. We married in September of 83 and were married for just about 20 years. During these 20 years we made 3 beautiful children.
Ritchie, what I call him, is kind, compassionate, empathetic, but had low self esteem about himself and never really knew how much most of the people in his life loved him. People never say how they feel or ignore people until a person is sick or dying then they run too that persons bedside trying too remove the guilt of what they should of been doing all along.
Ritchie who i also now would imagine if nickname are allowed in heaven would be called the "plucked angel" because while here on this earth, he had a compulsion with things being in order and never messy. {most womens dream, a man that picks up after themselves} So if  in heaven he is as the way he was here on earth he probably has wings with missing feather's for the spots of dust he stumbled across. {big smile} thats my Ritchie.
Ritchie loved motorcycles, older cars, turquoise, and making the weirdest combination's of food, i.e. {egg's and slice'd pickles}.
He always helped me with the kids, never making it a "your the mother you do it sort of thing" he would get up with both of our children never making a fuss.
In all, I am truly blessed too be able too say at a young age of 16 i met the man of my dreams, and he rocked my world and loved me unconditionally.
He was taken from me at a young age of 42 years old. He was co-infected with hiv and hepatitis. The end result wasnt even HIV related, it was all liver related, which resulted in end stages of cirrhosis, due too having hepatitis c. I brought him home where he died peacefully with his children and me. I will always miss him but have HOPE in my heart, he will be the first person i see when it's my time too go be with him, again. We love and miss you Ritchie. I need and want you so much.
