My Story

I met Glenn a few years ago while on a trip to Sydney.
Straight away I was struck by how friendly and open he was, even to a total stranger.
After a night filled with stories and laughs, I left Sydney and returned to Melbourne with a plan...to share Glenn with as many Star Wars fans as possible.
Glen came down to Melbourne a few months later (at his own expense) to attend a meeting of Star Walking, called Skyforce.
2 minutes before he walked on stage, Glenn turned to me and said
"I've never done any public speaking before"
At that point...I went into a panic...OMG, was he going to be any good, could he cope with a public forum??
I didn't need to worry...60 minutes later and he was still chatting to the audience, wowing them with his stories and his humour.
I had to almost drag him off the stage at the end of his time, but with a smile Glenn said to the audience "I'll be out in the foyer if anyone wants to chat more"
At that stage 1/2 of the room got up and headed out to the foyer...such was the attraction of this guy.

Glenn also attended a Skyforce meeting in Sydney, with similar results.

Recently, we had Glenn down in Melbourne once again as a special guests at our GalaxyFest event, and once again...he was a huge hit.
BUT, before we had even opened our doors, Glenn was rushing around, helping to dress props, move tables, set up rooms and do whatever he could to help...that's the kinda guy he was.

I only knew Glenn for a few years, but I feel as though I've lost a lifelong friend!

A great man, with a huge heart and an unending capacity for kindness and sharing. Everyone that met Glenn, was touched by him.

We'll miss yu little buddy!
