My Story

Mr. Fred Kish aka "Fred the Barber", age 73 of Gary, IN passed away on April 22, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Cindy Pearl, nee Pruett; devoted father of Michael ,Karen (wife), Ken, and Fred. He was a proud grandfather of Adam, Amiah,Averie,and Holli who passed away in 1998. He was the dearest brother of John Kish, James Kish, and the late Jean Peckham his beloved sister. He was a beloved Uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. He was the dearest son of John and Mary Kish.

Fred owned a barber shop for 50 years in Harvey,Dolton,Calumet City IL & recent in Highland IN. Many friends and family received their first haircuts with him and continued for years to receive their haircuts from him. Fred was an active member of A.A., and an inspiration to all. He will be dearly missed by many people.
