My Story

Frank is survived by his loving wife Linda Callari, two sons, Steve [Tracy] and David [Gayle], one daughter, Margo, one grandchild, Austin James Callari, his older brother Tony [Marge],  his younger brother Ron [Meg] in addition to nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins on the Callari and LaMantia sides of the family. Those that passed before Frank include his mother Cecelia, his father, Sam, his younger brother Bob and his sister Deborah Callari Cypressi and brother-in-law Roger Cypressi.

Frank grew up in Rochester, New York, attended Franklin High School, and worked for Empire Signs and Genesee Signs most of his adult career.

Frank will be remembered as an individualist like no other. He knew what he wanted and when he felt strongly about things, he never wavered from going after the important things in life. From his childhood years as a slingshot marksman to auto aficionado to master tradesman to doting husband and caring father, he excelled at all he put his mind to [and that's the short list]. As a Reborn Christian, he was a kind and generous spirit who always sought the greater good.

Suffering from cancer, he died peacefully in a bucolic setting ~ sitting under a tree in a beautiful park facing a stream. It appeared he passed as he had lived ~ on his terms, with dignity.
