I have been searching for the perfect words to describe the feelings I have in my heart for my brother Daniel.  The truth is there are no perfect words. His personality was larger than life, and his spirit and passion for life made an impression on everyone he knew.  He was always willing to have a good time, and never afraid to laugh at himself.  His laugh was contagious – you only needed to hear it once, and it would stay with you forever. It is impossible to summarize all the amazing qualities that made Daniel the man he was because words simply cannot do him justice.  Although his life was cut short so tragically, his spirit is alive in all of our hearts.  His spirit pulls us through the dark times, and allows us to enjoy the happy times.  I cherish every second I was fortunate enough to spend with my brother, and even though I wish everyday for one more second, I know that he is with me always.  Daniel was a truly remarkable person.  His tough exterior was only the façade for his caring and compassionate soul. I hope that Daniel’s spirit will shine, not through my words, but through his pictures and through the words and memories of friends and family.
