“Be the kind of women that when your feet hit the floor each morning, the demons say’ Oh shit, She’s awake!’” Unknown
That was my mother, your friend, sister, and lover, and my Daughter’s Dama Deer. Demons or Fairies alike ran for the hills when Dama Deer first woke every morning.
Aside from being a grump in the mornings, Dama Deer was the oldest daughter, a big sister, an Aunt and Great Aunt, and granddaughter. She was wife, and lover, she was my mother and without a doubt my best friend.
With all that, you would think she was done, but no her greatest accomplishment was being Dama Deer to a beautiful, self-determined, brightly shining star of a little girl for whom Dama Deer fought just as hard as I did to see Romee Girl brought safely in to our lives.
Dama Deer had many roles in many lives throughout our Community, she worked hard and loved to play just as hard. Living her life with no regrets or shame was a lifetime achievement for her, and one that she celebrated with all the glory of her Goddess given excitement that left no one in doubt that she was Dama DeerRunner, and no one could take that away from her. Not in this reality or any other realities that have gone, or have yet to come. What is Remembered Lives, and Dama you live because the memory of you burns bright in many minds, and hearts all over this land.
