My Story

Charles Smith....1947-1997
He was a son, brother, husband and the worlds GREATEST DADDY. My daddy had 5 children, 4 boys and 1 girl. There is a song that describes my daddy to the tee, and that is DADDYS HANDS. Daddy was the type of man he would do without to make sure his kids had what they needed. He was a simple man. He could care less about new cars, he always drove the old models. When I asked him why he didnt want a new car his response to me was, I am old fashioned, those new cars are to fancy for me. Besides I can work on the old ones. These new cars are to complicated. My daddy was a jeans, white teeshirt and boots person. He wasnt fancy at all, but to me there wasnt another man in the whole world that could out do him in anything. He always made everything better. Daddy was proud of who he was,and you could see it. He taught my brothers and I that family was everything and to uphold our family name. He was a SMITH and proud of it! When I got married I kept my Smith name, because I am just like my DADDY, I am PROUD OF IT TOO!!!!! On feburary 7, 1997 we lost a GREAT MAN to heart disease. My world hasnt been right since then.........
