My Story

Tibby was a cat full of character, in a way you could say she was a cat with multiable personalitiys, there was the cosy lazy cat, that could'nt be borthered with anything, then there was the friendly cat that loved everyone, the Teaser cat that would have my young sons on the brink of giggles or tears as she would run of with the toy they were playing with or chasing the scalextrix cars around the track or other times running of with there socks, then there was Tibby the provider, always bring her catch home to share with the family, Living on the edge of a small country town, her take-a-ways as the boys called it was quite a mixture, one day i had a squirrel running around the living room, with a puppy lab, 2 small boys and Tibs hot on its tail, with myself nursing a bloody teatowel wrapped around my hand after cornering it once, bring up the rear ,then finally being able to chase it out the back door, another time she brougth home a 3ft grass snake, how the hell she got that up and in though the little fan window alive,i don't know,to this day i'm still amazed about that one, Then there was Tibby the terror who would prowl on dogs, and bully them, once i had a bloke banging on my front door, threatening to call the ploice as my cat has got his German Sheppard yet again, and it was becoming a nevous wreck walking down our road, and to prove his point my beloved Tibbs rushed passed me and attacked his dog on our front doorstep,then there was Tibby the gardian of washing lines, when ever the neighbour hung out there washing Tibby would dart out from her hidyhole and bite you on the back of the ankels, I myself was inculded in this ritual, and soon learnt to call" Tibbs Tibbs" while hanging out the washing, as she was a loud talker i then had proir warning to which direction she was coming from and another game was sitting on our archway roof late in the eveings waitng for my ex to walk up the garden , as he walked under the arch Tibbs would cuff him around the head, sending his cap flying, Thinking back to all the years i had Tibbs I know i had a cat in a millon, she was more of a handfull then my boys at times, but she gave us all so much of her, and to this day my sons still laugth about that bloody grass snake, Over the years Tibby has moved with me many times and settled well after each move,  and at my last address in Norfolk we live near a pond with ducks walking around along the road and even in our garden, Old Tibbs who was at the good old age of 19 thought she had struck gold and tried bring a mallard duck home over the garden feance, bless her she did'nt have the strength that she had when she was younger and had to admit defeat and let go of the duck who then decided to turn around and give her a good hiding, much to Tibbs disbelith, Tibby was sadley put to sleep in 2001, but i can still feel her persents with us , our sleeping dog will suddly jump up and look behind him as if to say what was that for, and our other cats will go and sleep on her statue outside, Yes Tibbs is sadly missed, but boy oh boy did we have aload of fun over the years , she was a real mummys girl, and always came running when she heard my car ,
Tibby out lived her 3 Kittens who all went to good homes.
