Happy Birthday! Yesterday I finally did as you asked and your ashes are in the ocean. I am also baking a birthday cake, my (our) birthday isn't quite the same without you, but I am trying to make it happy-as you would want it to be.
As I think of you this christmas, what I have to say is, "You used up all the glue on purpose!" As I watch the marathon tonight, my thoughts will be of you and how much this movie made you laugh.
wow i cant belive it has been one year ago sence you left this world mom. times have been hard with you gone but now im starting my own life with a wonderfull person that you would have loved. i still do think about you from time to time esp a lot this time of year with the holidays that when we would do are own little xmas decorateing and stuff . i love you and miss you mom .fred

April 19th, 2008. Today is our birthday, I am 35 and you would be 64, I don't recall a birthday we didn't celebrate in one way or another together. It's not quite the same; not quite so happy. I miss you a lot today.
