Still can't believe Slim is gone from us. I know he would be out front now seizing the time...

As we struggle on, it is harder without you, but easier because you were here.

To Ron Washington Family I was truly shocked to hear about Ron's passing. He will be missed by many. May God ease your burden of grief at this time. I pray that the cherised memories you have of Ron will be a comfort to you. He was a kind person who had a big and loving heart. I will miss getting those bean pie orders from him that he absolutley loved.

Wow ..To know Ron was to be in the shadow of greatness, we all met folks that gave us something but Ron gave all he had . What I remember most is that he didn’t dither, he was what and who he said he was, a true revolutionary. I will always remember Slim's Kindness and his magnetic personality . I am honored i had the opportunity to be one of his close friends! he was indeed a father Figure, And when dudes on the Job called me "Ron Jr " as a joke they don't know that made me proud that they would even associate me with him in that manner! Love you Ron and i will do my best to keep alive what you started!

Slim, I offer this wine to go with some great jazz and some "hot" debate about the struggle. That is always how I'll always remember you. From me to you - a lutta continua. Leenie
