RUBEN M. RODRIGUEZ WAS BORN IN A SMALL RANCH TOWN OUTSIDE COTIJA, MICHOACAN, MEXICO. AT 17 HE IMMIGRATED TO THE U.S. AND SETTLED IN CALIFORNIA. IN 1973 HE MET HIS WIFE FELICIA CORDOVA AND TOGETHER HAD 4 CHILDREN. IN 1997 HE RETIRED AND RETURNED TO HIS HOME TOWN IN MEXICO. HE IS SURVIVED IN THE U.S. BY HIS WIFE FELICIA, HIS TWO SONS RUBEN JR. AND ENRIQUE, HIS TWO DAUGHTERS REBECCA AND FRANCISCA, AND 6 GRANDKIDS.
