My Story

Pete was born on the 10th of May 1980 at the Mater Mothers hospital in Brisbane.Son of Ken & Anne, Brother to David, Sarah & Katie,Uncle to Bella, Claudia & Chelsea. He attended Goodna primary school then Redbank plains high.He also attended Tafe where he studied horticulture and later started a traineeship for the council not that he saw working for the council work at all as it was his hobby. From early on in life Pete had a happy outlook despite being told he had epilepsy. He never saw his condition as a problem it was something that just happened from time to time and it was never going to stop him from doing what he wanted to do.And that was Pete’s attitude towards life; nothing was a problem for him.Nor was anything too much trouble or a hassle. If you ever needed a hand Pete would be the first one to say “do you need any help?”But he didn’t ask because he wanted something to do he asked because he wanted to be a part of your life. He never expected anything in return.Pete was family oriented, and to Pete nothing was more important than taking care of his family and their best interest. And that’s what made Pete’s personalty so infectious he understood that with everything that happens in this world nothing means more than family.Pete was the type of guy to deal with an issue there and then, He told you what he thought and that was the end of it. He didn’t believe in holding grudges and he didn’t believe in not being honest. Sometimes a bit too honest! Pete was like a cactus – Hard and spiky on the outside with a soft centre and once he had let you pass his hard exterior he was your best friend for life.Pete's generously provided his much needed vital organs to save the lives of others, Pete wouldn’t think “why” he would think “Why not”
