My Story

John was a soldier, a husband, a father, a businessman...

A Master Sergeant in the Air Force, John served overseas in Puerto Rico, Cuba and Korea.

While stationed in Puerto Rico, he married me, and we stayed married for 66 years.  We had two daughters and two sons. He was a devoted father, and his children were the most important persons in his life. So were his five grandchildren.

His childhood dream came true when he started his own business at age 41.  We worked together, struggled together for 45 years to keep the business going.

Retirement years were happy ones.  We traveled...continental U.S., Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, South America, Europe, North Africa.. we had a great time!  Old age and illness came, and after seven years of Alzheimers, on June 29, 2008, our love story ended.  John's legacy: a lifetime of devotion and memories to last me to the end.

His loving wife, Aida
