My Story

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one John David Murray who was born in Elma, Iowa on December 19, 1940 and passed away on February 12, 2010 at the age of 69. We will remember him forever.

John David Murray was married to Jill Elaine (Zirbel) Murray on August 25, 1973. He worked for Rockwell Automation for 25 years as a quality engineer.. He has 6 children, ranging in age from 49 to 24 years.

He enjoyed cooking, spending time with his family and friends around Burnsville and around Fish Trap Lake (Up North).  He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, sudoku puzzles, was a bit of a computer email maniac, and could draw well.   He loved his 'girls' - two Great Danes, Mimi (10 years) and Bella (1 year).
