My Story

Frank E Hoffman was born in Elyria, Ohio and lived there as a young child where his father was a meat cutter.  He moved with his family of six siblings to Panama for the remainder of his childhood. He met and married his wife Isabel and they lived in Panama for several years having two children, Ann and Dennis.  They moved to Indiana, Florida, and Kentucky and returned to Elyria when the kids were older.  He worked for Sears as a tv repairman and later for Federal Aviation  keeping the remote sites operational.  He and Isabel moved to California eventually and settled in Barstow, California until his wife's death in 1972.  Later he would marry Barbara Mount and live in Santa Ynez, California where he retired and became very active in the Lions Club serving in numerous positions.   He continued living there until his passing in 2012.
