Third born son of Sauhonu and Baisogo in a family of 10 children.  Six boys abd four girls.  Born on the 18th April 1956 at Bellona Island, Rennell/Bellona Province, Solomon Islands.

Secondary:  Betikama High School
Tertiary:   Solomon Islands Teacher's College
University: University of the South Pacific - Fiji.
