My Story

When we found out we was expecting identical twin boys we was so excited we could not wait we got told of the vanashing twin syndrome but we had 2 week scans to make sure you was both still there and you was we had so many scans i lost count but we got over the 12 week mark we got so excited my bump started to grow quick i could feel you both wriggle about when your big sister ruby spoke to you we got appointment through to scan for the disease TTTS Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome but it got cancelled we had to wait a further 2 weeks before we was offered another scan we went in hope that everythink was ok i was just over 18 weeks gone at this scan we found out you was boys hurray but our excitment was short lived as it was confirmed that you had TTTS and mummy had to go to Bristol for further tests so the next day we went down to Bristol and yes it was comfirmed you had TTTS and surgery was likley we went back and forth to bistol at this time mummy was nearly 21 weeks with you both when i had to have the surgery in the womb laser abalition they call it mummy felt everythink going on we was sent home a few hours laster we got past the weekend and headed back to bristol on the tuesday we went into the scan room and mark said those awful words im so sorry you both never made it thorugh we was sent home and had to go to our local hospital the next day to be induced it took 3 long days before i was ready to give birth to you knowing i had to carry you both round as still was torture to me i couldnt feel anythink my tummy felt cold you were born on the 10th july 2009 Cameron you came first weighing 210g at 15.40 then Carter you came out weighing smaller at 150g at 16.03 we held you in our arms that day i will never forget my princes your funeral i cant even remember i know it was raining so hard the minister said it was tears from heaven you were buried together on the 29th july 2009 at 1pm
you will be forever in our hearts and minds not a day goes past where i dont mention your sweet names how i miss you both take care of each other until we meet xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
