My Story

   In Loving Memory of Amando Jayme (Jaime) Pons
                                                                     1921 - 2013

Our dear husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away two short years ago on January 10, 2013. He was preceded in the journey to heaven by our beloved Lilia Campos Jayme who we miss dearly and know is with him in a better place. We will always remember our dad and grandpa as a man of the world who lived an interesting and nomadic life. He was born in Gomez Palacio, Durango to Raimundo Jaime and Ines Jorba Pons and was fiercely proud of his Catalan and Spanish/Mexican heritage. His journeys and adventures throughout Mexico, Texas, Michigan and the long beautiful roads in between will be forever etched into our memories. Each one of us holding special thoughts and admiration for a man who lived life, shared great stories and his smile. His death was and remains our loss.
