My Story

Remembering Patricia Josephine Trent-Richardson. PATRICIA JOSEPHINE TRENT-RICHARDSON also known as Jo or Pat was born in St. Vincent to the now deceased parents of Isabella DeFreitas and Basil Trent of Byrea. Patricia attended Miss Ford pre school, Peters ville school, Girls High school and St. Joseph Convent. In 1982 she graduated from St. Joseph Convent. Patricia began to work at the The St. Vincent and the Grenadines National Provident Fund in 1983. In 1993 Patricia migrated to Canada to live with her aunt Isola Claire Burnett and family. Patricia was known as the quiet one. She was a woman of grace and she lived her life with purpose. Patricia was also a loving, charming, caring, kind and positive thinking individual. Her sensitivity and caring nature allowed her to have a positive impact on all who knew her. Patricia was a no nonsense person who spoke frankly with honesty in love and with much grace. She was indeed a virtuous woman and got baptized in May 28th, 2000. Patricia was the first and only candidate to be baptized in our first water baptism at Toronto Manna Ministries. Patricia had a huge swimming pool all to herself, she was not afraid to be singled out for Christ. On September 25th, 2004 Patricia got married to a handsome gentleman by the name of Edmund Richardson. Patricia loved Edmund dearly and was a very respectful, supportive, caring and dedicated wife. Patricia will be missed tremendously by her husband Edmund Richardson. Patricia is survived by her seven sisters Roseclaire, Ada, Marlene, Diana, Wendy, Chrissie and Sue and her two brothers Lennox and Felix. Patricia will be missed yet forever remembered by those whose lives she impacted. What a gift she was and will always be cherished in our heart. “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away”. (Revelation 21:4)
