My Story

Brandon Glenn Brazel, 30, was already cold when he was found in his blue Ford Mustang around 10:20 p.m. by an old friend who recognized his vehicle and approached it when he thought he saw Brazel inside, according to Willis Police Chief James Nowak.
The vehicle was located in the northeast corner of the store's parking lot, located at 12466 Interstate 45 North.
"He was shot several times at close range with what we believe was a handgun," Nowak said. "Bullets were recovered and will be sent for ballistics testing. We have not recovered a weapon."
Brazel, a fiber optics technician, was last seen by his Shea, one of his many girlfriends, around 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nowak said.
Dispatchers broadcast a description of a white Cadillac Escalade during the night, which Nowak said belonged to another old friend of Brazel. The owner of the Escalade also shares a small child with Brazel's girlfriend at the time.
Both were found by investigators for questioning, according to Nowak.
"No suspects have been identified at this time, but there are many leads to follow and much work remains to be done," Nowak said. "Investigators interviewed a number of people during the night, and recovered several evidentiary items. The investigation continued through the night, and is currently ongoing."
Video from surveillance cameras on nearby businesses were removed and Nowak said it is being reviewed. He also said investigators are still talking to people and trying to reconstruct the hours leading up to Brazel's death.
Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Lanny Moriarty pronounced Brazel dead and ordered an autopsy to be conducted at the Southeast Texas Forensic Center, in Conroe, Nowak said.

This has still not been solved . Brandon is well known in this community where he grew up. Many of his friends and family still live in the area and want to know anything that may help us in solving his murder. Please if you have any informtion please come forward. Brandon you are missed and loved. We think about you everyday many times a day.
