My Story

i found out i was pregnant june 23,2007 i was already 2 months when i took the test i was so nervous but really really happy at the same time. so my first doctors visit i had my first sonogram which i think was in july the doctor said she looked good her little heartbeat was perfect and every month from then i had a doctors appt where he checked her heartbeat it was good i had 3 ultra sounds with this doctor and it was against their policy to tell patients the sex of their baby so i didnt know wut i was having until one day i was having pains in my lower back at 6 months so i went to the emergeny room and they said i was having minor contractions but they gave me an iv to stop them but when i was there they gave me an Internal with the camera and said the baby was okay and i was having a little girl OMG!!! I WAS SOOOOOOOOO HAPPY. so after that i felt the doctor wasent doin wut he was sopposed to be doin as far as examining me but this was my first pregnancy so i really didnt know wut kinda exams were sopposed to be done so i swithced my doctor when i was 7 months as far as i knew my baby was doing great good size good heartbeat..so i started this new doctor which was great i had my first ultrasound with him but it was my 4th one all together and he told me my baby was about 6 pounds at that time which was good and again her heartbeat was good...from then i came in once a month he did the normal bloodpressure and checking her heartbeat everything was good...by my 9th month i went in every week for the internal exams she was in position since my 8th month which was good again her heartbeat was good...i had 2 due dates one jan 29, 2008 and the other feb 2, 2008...when jan 29 came and went we was like ok feb 2 is next so i had my last appt on jan 31 he checked her heartbeat and said it was perfect. feb 2 came and went so im almost a week overdue he gave me my next appt for feb 7th for a non stress test for the baby...i never made it i went into labor feb 6th, at 7:00 am my contractions started i didnt go to the hospital until 10:00 am i got there at 11:00 got prepped for delivery the nurses hooked me up to the monitors to find her heartbeat..they couldnt find it so they brought in the big sonogram monitors to see if they can see her heart beating and they couldnt MY HEART DROPPED OUT MY BODY I COULDNT BELIEVE IT..they kept tryn and tryn but they said she was officially gone by 11:45 i didint know wut to do i was in shock,so i was still in labor i was only 3 centimeters when i got there by 3pm i was 10 but the doctor wanted her to come down more on her own being that she was gone already he didnt want me to push right a way so he waited until about 4 pm then i started pushing....I PREPARED MYSELF FOR THE WORSE CUZ I KNEW I WASENT GONNA HEAR A CRY OR SEE HER MOVE WHEN SHE CAME OUT.....she was born at 6:36 pm feb 6th...7lbs 5oz 20 1/2 inches she looked perfect when she came out just sleeping...i only held her for 3 hrs before they took her away forever..i didnt understand wut happend to her not even the doctors knew wut happend,i agreed for them to do an autopsy cuz i really wanted to know,from then i blamed myself for wut happend......so as days went by i waited for the results and they were that i had an INFARCTED PLACENTA which was caused by my blood flow not flowing correctly to the placenta so she wasent getting the oxygen and nutrients she needed and she had a congested liver and lung and she went into cardiac arrest the day b4 i gave birth to her but the problem was going on for the last 2 months of my pregnancy which she was in my belly suffering..the doctors never detected anything wrong with my placenta......till this day i still blame myself...the hardest thing i ever had to do was bury my daughter on feb 12th..(i had thoughts of going with her)..I MISS HER SOOOOOO MUCH I WAS SO HAPPY I WAS HAVING A LITTLE GIRL SHE HAD EVERYTHING B4 I TURNED 7 MONTHS :) I STILL HAVE ALL HER STUFF IN MY ROOM ,ITS TO HARD FOR ME TO PACK IT UP BUT ITS EVEN MORE PAINFUL TO HAVE IT WHERE I CAN STILL SEE IT,IM GONNA KEEP EVERYTHING AND PRAY TO GOD MAYBE HE'LL BLESS ME WITH ANOTHER LITTLE GIRL IN THE FUTURE,IM NOT SAYING TO REPLACE MY ANGEL JUST TO GIVE ME THE HAPPINESS AGAIN THAT I HAD WITH HER EVEN THOUGH I ONLY GOT TO ENJOY HER IN MY WOMB FOR 9 MONTHS....I ASK GOD EVERYDAY , WHY MY BABY????....HER NAME IS ANELYSS SKYE SHE IS MY ANGEL I WILL NEVER EVER EVER FORGET HER
