My Story

She was a women who would light up the room according to Roy. She loved God and in her later years founded a church at the Morningstar Estate in Mornington. She loved people and she would go out of her way to help you if she could.

In her earlier years before having an encounter with Jesus in 1979, she would play lots of tennis at the Yamala Tennis Club (Div 1) in Frankston and played ladies basketball before she was married. She was also a very accomplished dressmaker and made many fine gowns including her own wedding dress.

She was much loved by many people and she and Roy enjoyed a strong love affair and were married for 59 years. Val died only 10 days from her 80th birthday.

She travelled the world and on one of those trips was in a Womens Aglow conference in USA during  911 attack  on WTC.

Roy was 1 year older and he survived Val for 3 more years, he found it very difficult without the love of his life. They are now both in heaven together, enjoying themselves.
